It's not going so good, I'm sitting here trying to finish my final project and I hate it. For the final project i wanted to do something that had a better end product. I might change it, again. I always do this but I'm just not getting out of this project what I want

Hello. I haven't blogged in awhile, but my most recent project was a mini one involving interactive flash.... I'm not sure if I can load if up here but I will try....For my final project I am doing old photos or possible my own black and white photos and then collaging them and coloring them in with other photos or other things that I may have scanned in. I want it too look like it's very layered and with shadows under everything but we will see.... That's it for now...

i dont like websites

I'm getting frustrated again with this projecktjk becaus I don't know what to do!! Ikeep changing my mind. I don't know if I should try to make this website look more profesional, or if I should go the fun route which is what I originally thought of. I think I'm going to go with the litlle animation of me walking around like I originally palnned. Hmm.... I don't know why I posted this.

first post for website

I'm having trouble once again on  deciding what to do for this project. My main idea is to have a little cartoon drawing of myself pulling in all of the buttons that would then lead into the rest of the websit. I'm just not positive of how to do that in flash. I also wasn't sure if I should do something that looks more professional because its disp;laying our work. Hmmmmm......

My final with sound finally. I like it but I'm still bummed out that I didn't do something with more of a concept or story. I do want to do something with the ink blots animation that I have already started, but it just wasn't working out with the animation

Project 2

Well lets see,.... i don't really know where to go with this project. I really like the idea of using music and i think this is kind of limiting me cuz i have a certain kind of sound in my head that i want to make and it's causing limits to what kind of concept this piece will be about. My first thought was having a dream sequence because the music i want to make sounds kind of whimsical and dreamy. But, i dont know what i would make the dream be about. Another idea i had was to do something with fairies. I love fairies so it would be pretty exciting but i don't know if it would too much work. I'm thinking that I would have the fairy leaving its house in the trees and flyiign out of the forest and then I was thinking that she would stop by a house and get swatted at by a person with a huge fly swatter. This may sound disturbing but i think the point would be that we all believed in magical things and used our imaginations when we were little but as we grow older, becoming an adults ruins this, hence the fairy gets squished by the adult. Hmm, I dont know.

I also had the idea of a man fishing and hes catching all this fish but when hes looking away a big fish comes out of the water and eats him.

I also had another idea of doing something that has to do with sexism and how society enforces it and gender roles and such.

So many ideas but I dont know what to do!

i dont know why but when i try to load up all of the new images i have created for this project, they are loading up all distorted and not the right colors!  i dont know what's going on!

for some reason my pictures keep loading the wrong colors , almost like the inverted color  of what they should be.....hope they print okay!

i think i am done with this one, but maybe not. Its like 430 and i have to get up in 3 and a half hours to go to this class....boo.

still needs some fixing up and needs to be sharpened but this is a start. I'm not sure if I want to do two more or three more illustrations, and whether or not they're all inside or some inside and outside in the illustrations. That's it for now.......

What To Do?

Well I have a couple of ideas on where to go with this project. One: The theme would just be wierd scenes with flowers included , which was how i thought i could tie all three illustrations together. I'm not so sure. For one thing I'm not sure if this is a strong enough theme to tie all together and I'm still not sure what to do for each illustration. I've done one so far which i really like but I don't know if theres any other ones I could do with it. The other route is making a digital room with each wall having an illustration , and one wall having a window on it where sunflowers are trying to come out of the painting next to it, reaching towards the sun. But yet again I don't know how to tie the whole thing together. Another option is to make three illustration where the concept would be that people are liek plants, specifically flowers, and flowers are like people. One illustration is where a big sunflower is watering a bunch of people that are in pots full of dirt. Another one could possibly be a living room setting with a vase on the table with people in the vase where flowers would be. Another one I was thinking of would be a ton of people "planted" in the dirt in a huge field outside. I'm trying to think of other interactions the flwoers and the humans can make but I'm coming up short. Anothe rproblem with this concept is actually making the illustrations, I would probably have to draw the flowers to get the poses I want but i want them to look realistic. Hmmm....
